In Växjö you are always close to nature. There are 26 nature reserves and a few of the most frequently visited are within walking and cycling distance from the centre of town. Our modern arena city with stadiums for floorball, ice hockey, football and athletics are all world class. Växjö has teams in the highest series within ice hockey, Växjö Lakers, floorball, Växjö Vipers, ice bandy, Åby/Tjureda IF, and soccer, Växjö DFF. Växjö has been appointed “The best sports municipality” twice within five years.
