Through the years Växjö has hosted many events and meeting; international conferences, national Eurovision Song Contest competitions, Swedish Championships in ice-hockey, floorball, handball, athletics, football and much more. In 2013 Växjö was one of the proud host-cities of UEFA Women´s Euro in football and in 2017 we hosted the IFF Men´s U19 World Floorball Championships.
Rich and varied concert and cultural offerings with a number of different festivals in central Växjö contribute to an exciting atmosphere all year round.
