Arenas

In Växjö you find everything from old theaters and cinemas to our modern arena city with stadiums for floorball, ice hockey, football, gymnastic and athletics. In the city centre the impressive Växjö Concert Hall is located, and at summer The Linné Park, is the perfect spot for outdoor concerts. Växjö has all kinds of event venues and below you find a list with some of them. Please contact us if you have any questions or need help to find the right location for your event.

Fortnox Arena

The Floorball arena was opened in September 2012. It was build mainly for playing floorball. The arena can also be used for concerts, fairs, conferences, culture events and education. U19 World Floorball Championships, gymnastic competitions, concerts and large Youth Tournaments etc. has been arranged in the arena.

Capacity: Floorball: in total 1 600; seating 1 250 and standing 350. Concerts: in total 2 000. Room 2, Sports events: 350 seating.

Fortnox Arena

Växjö Concert Hall 

Växjö Concert Hall is located in central Växjö. There is great opportunities to arrange concerts, big congress, conferences, seminars and board meetings. Besides the conference rooms and The Christina Nilsson salon, there is a lounge with 1 100 km utställningsyta, samt en övre foajé på 250 kvadratmeter.

Capacity: The Christina Nilsson salon has the seating capacity 800 guests. 20 other conference rooms from 2 to 150 guests.

Växjö Concert Hall 

Vida Arena

The hockey arena was opened in September 2011. The arena has hosted games in The Swedish hockey league, international games in handball and hockey, Swedish championships in iceskating, national Eurovision Song Contest competitions and other concerts and musicals.

Capacity: Sport events: 5 750 guests. Other events: 7 000 guests.

Vida Arena

Myresjöhus Arena

The football arena was opened in September 2012. Visma Arena has hosted international matches in football and is the home arena for Östers IF and Växjö DFF. In 2013 Växjö was one of the proud host-cities of UEFA Women’s Euro in football and several games was played at Visma Arena.

Capacity: In total: 12 000 guests, 10 000 seating and 2 000 standing.

Myresjöhus Arena

Tipshallen

Tipshallen contains one full size football field (artificial turf). Around it, it is a 398 meter running track. Attached to the Tipshallen there is a special build gymnastic hall with focus in TeamGym. Besides these two halls, there is a third one that has eight 120-meters running track. The arena has hosted football games, rugby tournaments, athletic competitions, different fairs and exhibitions.

Capacity: Sport events: in total 5 250 guests; 1 500 seating och 3 750 standing. Concerts: 7 500 guests. Fairs and exhibitions: 4 000 guests.
